Lower Allen Township Emergency & Municipal Service Center

Government/Municipal - Camp Hill, PA

eciConstruction is proud to have worked on the Lower Allen Township Emergency & Municipal Service Center located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. A 47,000-square-foot center was built that will house the fire, EMS, police, and township offices. The project involved extensive site remediation to remove unsuitable soils, building demolition, and site construction. The new building was constructed on 10.6 acres which consisted of 8 separate parcels of property that are bounded by Carlisle and Gettysburg Roads, Pennsylvania Avenue, and the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Back in 1736, the property was the site of the first permanent settlement on the West Shore. The building has a combination of materials and designs to evoke the historical buildings that were once standard in Lower Allen Township. The $6.7 million project was completed in March 2008.
